Here in Colorado we like to take full advantage of our outdoor living spaces. This is a beautiful example how to compliment your home and garden by creating a transition between the two spaces. This raised flagstone patio feels much more like an extension of the house because of the overhead arbor and surrounding seat walls. We have enhanced the atmosphere and ultimately tied in the indoor/ outdoor experience by the presence of a water feature that also serves as a focal point for the dining area.

The Art in Landscaping

Here’s perfect example on how easily art integrates and lends and extra dimension to any backyard landscape. This newly finished residential project from the Washington Park area included a beautifully custom designed iron plate art piece. The piece hangs from a small redwood arbor accented by calming tones of a blue flagstone wall and patio. Can’t wait to return for another image once the plants have fully matured.

Outdoor Living at its Finest

This Washington Park Denver backyard is a great example of outdoor living. The outdoor kitchen and bar height serving area is a great place to entertain guests.
