Contemporary Courtyard in Denver Highlands

Denver Highlands Courtyard with Flagstone PatioThe bright red stucco wall in this contemporary courtyard really brings a lot of flare to this project located in the hip north Denver Highlands neighborhood. Masonry walls were used to create a sense of enclosure and privacy. The house has folding glass doors that meld the line between indoors and outdoors, really making this courtyard an extension of the home. Low voltage lighting enhances any project and can be enjoyed any time of year, weather inside or out. Custom artwork, a Japanese lantern and water feature really pull this landscape together!

Bring Mother Nature Back to Your Backyard

The beauty of a water feature can provide soothing sounds, cooler surrounding temperatures, and a natural draw to promote relaxation. For this South Denver Mayfair neighborhood project we used 20 tons of strategically placed boulders to not only create a places to dangle your toes in these hot August summers, but a private backyard ecosystem that hits all the senses at once. We designed a meandering pathway and lighting to lend this feature a setting to explore; day or night.

So bring the great outdoors to your doorstep with a free quote from our design team. We’re wading!

Shape Up and Get Modern

Bringing your old backyard landscape up to date with modern design will not only raise your property value; but can also add hints of texture, pattern, and a clean geometric look giving a touch of comfort and class to any property.

This particular project from South Denver showcases a prime example on how Mexican beach pebbles and custom concrete steppers give a smooth streamlined lead into the lawn area, complimented by a 90º partition and raised deck. This gives a subtle, yet multi-dimensional transition from the propane fire pit to the main patio.

Did I mention patterns and congruent shapes are known to sooth the mind? So just relax….. give us a call for a fair and square estimate on your future landscaping needs.

Taking Your Outdoor Stairs to the Next Level

Thinking about replacing those cracked and worn concrete stairs; or maybe just creating an alternative entrance pathway?

This project from North Denver consisting of a four tier twisting flagstone stairway exemplifies the beauty of natural stone in an urban landscape.  We used large accent boulders and river rock to harmoniously draw together the organic approach taken here.  Once the foliage begins to mature, this lush corridor will become a wonderful first and last impression for any home or garden.

Bringing the Indoors Outside- Colorado Style

Here in Colorado we like to take full advantage of our outdoor living spaces. This is a beautiful example how to compliment your home and garden by creating a transition between the two spaces. This raised flagstone patio feels much more like an extension of the house because of the overhead arbor and surrounding seat walls. We have enhanced the atmosphere and ultimately tied in the indoor/ outdoor experience by the presence of a water feature that also serves as a focal point for the dining area.
Whether entertaining dinner guests with an outdoor kitchen, or just enjoying your summer evenings; you’ll find a new favorite place to gather and enjoy our 300 days of sunshine in comfort and style.
