Whether you a Colorado Native or a recent transplant you are by now well aware of the extreme changes in temperatures we have here in our 
beautiful state. Despite the fact, we have colder weather our love for the outdoors does not sway! There are many ways to continue to enjoy our outdoor living and fun but here at Mile High Landscaping, we love our outdoor fire pits and fireplaces!!!
Regardless of the outside temperatures our Mile High Landscaping’s outdoor fire pits and fireplaces are a perfect solution for the continued use of the outdoor spaces and living areas. Situated into a new outdoor living space or added into an existing patio area, fire pits and fireplaces are a great way to bring family and friends together and or to create a warm and intimate space to relax. Our custom designed/fabricated fire pits and fireplaces can not only be used as roaring bonfires for much-needed heat and warmth but they can also be used at low burn to roast marshmallows for smores, add intimate lighting and or to create a unique and fun outdoor dining experience. 
No Matter if you have a much more traditional or more modern contemporary style home, Mile High Landscaping can create the perfect fire element that will be both functional and aesthetically matching to fit your project. Most of our fire elements are configured with home fed natural gas so there is never any worry of running out of wood or having an empty propane tank. This allows you, your family and guests to enjoy your new fire element with without the concern of stock wood, flying sparks, cleaning ashes or replacing the propane tank each and every time you want to use it.

This private patio nook was designed out of custom concrete pavers. A brick seat wall encloses the area surrounding the neat four sided water fountain that was purchased through Creative Living. Accent LED lighting is found throughout and the stone flower planters flank the fountain on either side. The back drop is a custom made western red cedar rose trellis/privacy screen that adds nice background textures which screen out the neighbors house from view. We can’t wait until the roses take hold and fill in with colorful blooms.

Mile High Landscaping designed and built this very cool oasis in a Denver property to create an intimate spot for family and friends to gather outside for dinner and drinks by a cozy outdoor fire place. This space has a warm feeling made by the wooden pergola above and accent led lights on the pillars. The space has a rugged look but very functional use of the paver patio and flagstone seat walls opening into the fire place area. A great place to entertain!

This beautiful custom gas driven fire pit is a great place to spend the evening relaxing with family and friends. Have a seat on the stone seat wall that is accented with Led low voltage lighting and large granite boulders while listening to the soothing sound of the water feature in the background. The custom trellis along with the evergreen trees adds a sense of privacy and gives the feeling of being right in the Rocky Mountains.
